Julie and I are heading to hurricane country. At least, it wasn't hurricane country when we booked the hotel room ... this is the second consecutive year a hurricane (or tropical storm, as the case may be) has appeared at our destination. Flight's not being delayed, though -- we're not flying there. I'm going to see what the Civic of Fury can really do on the highway. I managed to average over 50MPG on the way to Jeff's house a couple times, but I don't think I'd be able to maintain that sort of average over 1800 miles.

I'm thinking it may be a good idea to take my BlackBerry along on the vacation. It would be cool if the '08 Civic Hybrid's navi had XM NavTraffic ... but, because it doesn't, Google Maps on the BlackBerry will suffice.

So ... preparation is making us both tired, but we'll be quite happy once we're on vacation
